Hear what some of our audience members, actors, and their parents have to say!

"If you're looking to work on Shakespeare with someone that has such a profound knowledge of the text, look no further than Stephanie and Walking Shadow. In addition to her textual knowledge, Stephanie leads with a compassion and humanity that is unmatched and allows those working with her to unearth why Shakespeare is still relevant today."
Korey Joseph Pimental

"Twelfth Night was a true crowd-pleaser that would have satisfied groundling audiences of any era. It’s always a good sign when the audience and the cast are both having an equally good time, and this show was no exception. Propelled by powerful leading performances by Gabby Millard (Viola), David Sackal (Orsino) and Nathaniel Cowper (Malvolio), as well as strong supporting-cast roles by Robert Oliver (Antonio) and Chuey Okoye (Captain and Priest), the cast and audience shared a wonderful evening of comedy and laughs. Director Stephanie Crugnola’s efforts to make Shakespeare’s works accessible to 21st century audiences were rewarded throughout the evening, thanks in large part to the riotous performances of the ever-inebriated duo of Sir Toby Belch and Sir Andrew Aguecheek (David Ghioni and Lewis Fojtik.) ...the production as a whole was deeply pleasing and satisfying for the entire audience - present company included! I look forward to future entries from this local production company, and applaud Ms. Crugnola’s continued labor in bringing high-quality presentations of The Bard’s work to this part of the world."
Mark Capparella

"An amazing program. The productions consistently work with a wide range of performers, from newer to seasoned, and the direction always brings everyone to their best. The quality is always there."
Ryan Hanley

"Stephanie Crugnola has created a group focused on not only providing wonderful shows and content but also for learning, understanding, and gaining greater respect for the first name in play writers. I have had the pleasure to either be in or see every...show and do not plan on ever missing one. A great place for friends, learning, and fun."
Ryan Leverone
“Anyone that can get my now 13 year old (started when she was 10) into Shakespeare deserves 5 Stars. Also, my 7 year old granddaughter first saw Romeo & Juliet when she was 4 years old and watched with her eyes glued to the stage. She later performed in Macbeth while in Kindergarten. Stephanie makes it interesting and fun. It really is the 'no fear' Shakespeare.”
Lori Daddario

“An amazing, educational, and deeply important program.”
Nicholas Landmesser

“…introducing artists of all ages and experience to the poetry and power of Shakespeare…It’s inclusive, fun and challenging to all who care to partake.”
Kent Miller

"A really charming community theatre with excellent direction, great for both Shakespeare novices and experts. A great place to introduce both young and old to all the fun Shakespeare can offer!"
Amanda O'Donnell

"An ENTIRELY different experience from the stuff you do in school. By adding modern twists like music, the shows appeal to all audiences, from the far and few Shakespeare fans not performing onstage to otherwise uninterested children. As a performer, I look forward to every production...to learn new acting skills, meet great people, and just have a wonderful time. Regardless of whether you're onstage or in the audience, [it] is a valuable and worthwhile theater company to check out."
Anna Bramley
"Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more." Macbeth 5.5
